  Painting the surface of a mixed flow pump serves two purposes: one is to improve its appearance; secondly, it can improve its corrosion resistance. Therefore, the selection of surface coatings for mixed flow pumps should pay attention to some methods and techniques to ensure product performance.

  Use conventional industrial anticorrosion coatings, and preferably steel structure anticorrosion coatings as the primer. Select a high-performance duty paint with low surface treatment requirements (wet application with rust), because only manual rust removal or simple surface treatment to achieve ST2-ST3 can greatly save pretreatment costs and labor.

  In the entire application process of the mixed flow pump, the actual operation standards should be followed, so as to improve the pump's working efficiency and service life, and reasonably reduce equipment failures caused by operational errors, such as leakage and water leakage accidents, and reduce the corrosion problem of machinery and equipment.   Another is the safety protection of magnetic induction corrosion of communication and exchange power lines. In general, the corrosion caused by alternating current is much smaller than that of DC power, about 1% lower than that of DC power. When high-voltage communication AC power lines are constructed parallel to pipelines, due to the hazards of electric fields and alternating electromagnetic fields, the metal pipeline generates magnetic induction, causing an AC loop. With the accumulation of AC and DC power, the existence of AC current will cause depolarization of the energy level surface and accelerate corrosion. In addition, the length of the parallel part should be prevented or reduced as much as possible.

Insulation measures are essential, especially at ultra-low temperatures. If the equipment is enclosed storage equipment, then the pipelines and gate valves at each connection point need to be insulated. If it is an open mixed flow pump, the surrounding environment needs to be reasonably controlled to eliminate flammable and explosive materials. The area near the mixed flow pump tank needs to be heated to ensure that the material does not easily condense.
