The trial operation of the slurry pump should meet the following requirements: the direction of the driving motor should be the same as the direction of the pump; there should be no looseness at the fixed connection parts, and the specifications and quantity of lubricating oil added to each lubrication part should meet the requirements of the equipment technical documents; parts that need pre-lubrication should be pre-lubricated according to the regulations; all indicating instruments and safety protection devices should be sensitive, accurate, and reliable; the temperature rise should be uniform, and the temperature rise should not exceed 500% ; the temperature difference between the pump body surface, the process pipeline, and the working medium inlet should not exceed 400℃ ; a connecting device is set to eliminate the influence of temperature rise, and a bypass connecting device is set to provide a cooling water source.

The following points should be noted during the operation of the slurry pump: Do not operate without water, do not adjust the suction port to reduce the discharge volume, and do not operate under low flow conditions; monitor the operation process, completely eliminate leakage from the packing gland, and use new packing when replacing the packing gland; ensure that the mechanical seal has sufficient flushing water flow, and do not use excessive water flow for water-cooled bearings; do not use excessive lubricant; check according to the recommended cycle; establish operation records, including operation time, adjustment and replacement of packing, addition of lubricant and other maintenance measures and time; the suction and discharge pressure, flow rate, input power, washing liquid, bearing temperature, and vibration of the centrifugal pump should be regularly measured and recorded.

The following points should be noted during the maintenance of the slurry pump: The bearing water pressure and water volume must meet the regulations, and the tightness of the packing should be adjusted (or replaced) at any time to prevent slurry from leaking from the pump port. Shaft seal. And replace the bushing in time. When replacing the bearing, ensure that there is no dust in the bearing assembly and that the lubricating oil is clean. The bearing temperature during pump operation generally does not exceed 60-65℃，maximum not exceeding 75℃ . Ensure the coaxiality of the motor and the pump, ensure that the elastic pads in the coupling are intact and undamaged, and replace them in time if damaged. Ensure that the pump components and pipeline system are installed correctly, firmly, and reliably. Some parts of the slurry pump are wearing parts. In daily use, pay attention to the wear and tear of wearing parts and repair or replace them in time. During the maintenance or replacement of wearing parts of the slurry pump, the correct assembly and reasonable gap adjustment must be ensured to avoid tight grinding.
