How to achieve effective vibration isolation for a stainless steel self-priming pump
Vibration isolation methods must be implemented, especially for new stainless steel self-priming pump installations. Do not neglect this; otherwise, significant vibration and noise will occur during operation. Self-priming pumps generate considerable noise during operation, which can damage equipment and cause noise pollution. Therefore, effective vibration isolation is crucial. How can vibration isolation be achieved for self-priming pumps?
1. When using six support points for the generator set vibration isolators, four should be placed on malleable blocks or channel steel motor shafts at the four corners, and the other two should be placed on the long side frame line, adjusting their direction to ensure the tightening deformation of the isolators is as consistent as possible.
2. Vibration isolators should be installed symmetrically along the center line of the self-priming pump unit. Rubber vibration isolation pads can be installed clockwise or counterclockwise.
3. When using rubber vibration isolators for stainless steel self-priming pump generator sets, channel steel motor shafts should be set under the pump unit base and anchored with steel bars. The channel steel motor shafts should be fixed to the rubber vibration isolators with foundation bolts.
4. For single-sided installation of rubber vibration isolation pads, if the frequency ratio does not meet the requirements, double-layer series installation can be used, but the number of vibration isolation base layers should not exceed five.
5. The frame line of the rubber vibration isolation pad should not exceed the frame line of the malleable block; the bearing area of the channel steel motor shaft should not be less than the total supporting area above the vibration isolator.
6. Before the construction of stainless steel self-priming pumps, it is necessary to check that the static compression deformation of the vibration isolators during installation should not exceed the maximum allowable value, and the generator set vibration isolators should be kept away from contact with acids, alkalis, and organic solvents.
Types and working principle of stainless steel self-priming pump doors: Self-priming pump doors are divided into three types: total free type, balance weight type, and double-section type. When the centrifugal pump is opened, the free-type door actively opens under the influence of the water flow. For the balance weight type door, a galvanized steel wire rope is tied to the door plate. The self-priming pump is connected by hinges in the middle. When starting, the upper door opens under the impact of the water flow and the buoyancy of the water in the lower door, reducing water loss after opening.
What basic common sense should be paid attention to when using a self-priming pump?
1. There is a certain gap in the pump chamber, and the magnetic drive pump uses "static rolling bearings," so it cannot be used in uncomfortable systems, neither positive nor negative pressure is feasible.
2. Because the cooling and lubrication of the magnetic drive pump bearings rely on the transported substance, it is relatively discouraged to run empty, and at the same time, it prevents the full-load operation caused by restarting after power failure during operation.
3. If the transported substance is rich in solid particles, a filter screen should be added to the pump inlet; if it is rich in ferromagnetic particles, a magnetic filter should be added.
4. The ambient temperature during pump operation should be below 40℃, and the motor temperature rise should not exceed 75℃.
5. The transported substance and the ambient temperature must be within the approved range of the pump material.
6. For substances that easily accumulate crystals, they should be rinsed and drained after use to remove accumulated water inside the pump.
7. For long-term operation, the damage of rolling bearings and port dynamic rings should be inspected, and unsuitable consumable parts should be replaced.
